It was breathtaking, and quite a photo op! There are many wonderful attractions and rides, and contrary to popular belief, Disney during the month of April is not "jam packed". Arrive early, and be greeted by "Mother Nature", a lovely woman in a leafy costume gracefully walking on stlits. Getting back to my review of Disney, we'll start with the first one we visited. We stayed on the ground level, and it was very noisy. I'd reccomend this hotel, however, choose a room on the top floor. It was relaxing to be able to return to our suite or site, sort of like another extension of our vacation. We chose to stay at Windham Orlando, which is right next door to the Ripleys Museum, and really enjoyed it.Several pools are on the property, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Very nice souvenier, and one that we chose to frame. Really enjoy them.Order the free DVD from Disney, and you can also order free deluxe park maps with your familys name printed on them. My advice for a first timers trip to Disney- do all four parks plus the water parks. this basically ruined my day and all the time I spent ahead of time preparing was a waste. It was very fustrating and I had to hold my cool since this is for the kids and didnt want to cause a seen. The 3rd barber finally took me and did apologize. I said you know this is my son's brthday, they didnt listen. The barber still took the other person and ignored me while another barber told her not to pay attention to me. I said wait a minute I am a walkin and another lady sitting next to me agreed w/ me and was fustrated. A walk in came in after me and was taken by the walkin barber. So, I said I would switch to be a walk-in. They had one person just for walk-ins and 2 for appts. When I got there a little early about 20 minutes, I asked if we could be taken early. This haircut was on my son's birthday and wanted his birthday to be very special and perfect, since we flew from PA as well. BUT, I was told it is a good idea to book ahead of time since they up book fast. I spent a long time on hold and you cannot book the barber shop appt online as far as I am aware of.
I booked and gave credit card for my son's hair cut ahead of time from home in PA.
